Who We Are ?

BASI - Bless A Soul International was formed in 2012 by Pastor Michael and colleagues at the time. They desired to bring a change and transformation around them. They did this by buying bibles (from their income) and distributing them to people. They gave the bibles on the condition that if you got a bible, you bought 3 Bibles to give out as well. This would in turn cause a ripple effect in spreading the word of God. They desired to bring a change using the word of God. The bibles were given to both the young and the old. They undertook to street evangelism and taking bibles to people in bars hoping to make a transformation in people’s lives.

There was no activity thereafter till 2020 where Pastor Michael engaged the youth at Jesus Gospel Power Ministries for a mentorship program that aimed to nurture their walk with God, get improvement in their studies and building of healthy relationships. Thereafter an academic exhibition was held where various higher learning institutions engaged the youth on their current programs and offered career guidance.

In March 2023, Pastor Michael left Jesus Gospel Power Ministries to focus fully on BASI. Driven by passion and desire to see the youth living productive lives founded on the principles of God’s word. BASI is open to all, to make a change and bring transformation especially among the youth.

Objectives

2. To mentor the youth and offer guidance
3. To network with like-minded partners, organizations, and parents
4. To empower the youth and nurture talent and ensure equality and equity among our youth.
